Led a team of developers (ranging from 2 to 5 throughout) in the planning, development, testing and final release of a highly customized CodeIgniter-based project that allowed Curators to upload music for the public to find, listen and download.

• Planned and implemented the InnoDB relational database including triggers for maintaining database integrity and optimizing heavy queries that could not be cached using Memcached.
• Wrote a custom ORM to replace CodeIgniter’s in order to meet special caching and development needs.
• Wrote an ID3 tag reader / writer and a WAV to MP3 Conversion server in PHP and Python that listens for new conversion requests, converts the files and uploads the newly converted MP3 to an S3 bucket for use on the site.
• Implemented automated deployment to compress and upload Javascript / CSS files, run update scripts remotely and modify the database according to version number.

Implemented a completely custom Audio / Video player for Saavn, the largest Bollywood distributor in the United States. The player is written in Object Oriented Actionscript 3 and compiled using the command line (MXMLC). The layout is completely customizable via an XML settings file and includes the ability to load and manage custom user playlists. The company has recently moved in a different direction, but the player can be found on their old site at http://www.saavn.com/playlist/11

Implemented a custom CMS and web site for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. This project is written in PHP 4 and includes a custom ORM with its own query language that allows for quick changes to the database schema without requiring code updates. The CMS is “AJAX” enabled and includes advanced featured based on the custom ORM that allows it to draw itself and cross references all internal data between the generated forms and lists.
